Personal Experience
I can’t believe that only one other review exists. This location is lively, energetic, and brisk. We drank, ate, and played for two hours after arriving on time. If you’re not as into golf as my wife is, you might like Angry Birds. The hostess was excellent. Food that works well with a large group. Using the CD deck to hit golf balls without having to go look for them? What’s better than that?
Another one:
This was an excellent experience. There are two of them. We were on the lowest level, so we don’t know if the highest level is better because we haven’t done this before. We had two hours to eat and play. Although the food was fantastic, I don’t think you have to eat. Philip, our waiter, has one “L.” Since my son is 2 “L,” I must specify. I’m really good. He was interested and attentive. What a great time for five rivals who still had a lot of fun. Before you release the next ball, make sure you are on your name; otherwise, the great points you just scored will appear on someone else’s scorecard.
Taking a grasp of the Topgolf project in Albuquerque
Even before it opened its doors last winter, Topgolf’s presence and plans had a significant impact on our beloved city.
At the beginning of 2018, the entertainment company with headquarters in Texas announced that it would construct its first indoor entertainment centre in New Mexico. Soon after, there was controversy.
The project fell behind schedule due to delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, despite receiving substantial support from the state and county (the former was vetoed by Mayor Tim Keller before being overridden by the City Council). The parcel that was home to Topgolf was put up for sale less than a year after it opened in February in Northeast Albuquerque.
Even though the company insists that it has no intention of closing the facility or leaving Albuquerque, readers have raised concerns regarding the facility’s future and the incentives that supported it. The Journal used the Inspection of Public Records Act to find publicly available information about the procedure, including the 2018 project participation agreement.

How does TopGolf work?
TopGolf is a golfing experience unlike any other. The driving range and golf simulator are designed to emulate the feeling of playing in real life, allowing players of all levels to have a great time. Several games can be played on TopGolf, including standard golf, mini golf, and laser tag. Players can choose from various equipment and courses, making it the perfect destination for any occasion.
To play at TopGolf, guests must first sign up online or at one of the locations. Once signed up, guests will receive an invitation to attend one of the orientation sessions. These sessions teach players the basics of TopGolf gameplay, such as how to hit the ball and find their distance. After the orientation session, guests are ready to start playing!
To begin playing, guests select one of the many courses available and select their equipment. The course selection process is similar to choosing a sports team: each course has its unique personality and atmosphere. After selecting their system and equipment, players are brought into the simulator to start practicing their swing. Practice doesn’t end there, though: once players feel comfortable with their swing, they can take on real challenges by competing in tournaments or Quick Games against other guests.
